Model made of paddle pop sticks

I experimented with an alternate material for an additional model. I used paddle pop sticks and a hot glue gun to construct this model. It was the most challenging out of all the models I have made so far as I required detail and precision.

Here are pictures in the process of my model making.

Here is a finished product of my paddle pop stick model

Evaluation
Positive: The material is distinct and diverse to my other models.
Negative: The connecting glue looks messy, it could be done with glue that dries clear.
Improvement: I learned a new skill of constructing a model with paddle pops.

Materials

Materials

Interior Materials

Initial model

I added in materials such as a carpet for the floor, wood for the door and desk, linen for the bed, and patterned wallpaper for the feature wall

After evaluation, I improved and corrected the shadow on the door and window of this model.

Exterior Materials

Materials I selected:

Wooden planks

Bricks

Concrete

After evaluation, I improved the scale and size of the wooden planks to make the model look more realistic.

Model Making with Cardboard

Cardboard Model

I added a light sauce to my Model

Evaluation:
Positive: My line cutting skills are developing and strengthening.
Negative: The model has no roof, it is an open model
Improvement: This model is a bit basic and could be further developed to be more diverse. It also could be further improved with a light source or design that creates a reflection when light is used from the inside.

Paper model making of Curves

Curves

Model 1

Model 2 - symmetrical curvature

Model 3 - Unsymmetrical Curvature
I also added in these black squared angles to represent people as a means for scale.

I added in a light sauce for this model to add an extra dimension

Model 4

Evaluation
Positive: The use of curves is striking, appealing when added to a design. It is also a new skill I have accumulated in this model making process.
Negative: The human figures (black squared angles) are lacking details and could be more refined.
Improvement: Finding a material that can be used to make these models and it is difficult to bend most material in the way I have modeled.

Fusion Initials

First I started with these letters and I later found I couldn't loft it all together

I then changed the shape of my S and I was able to Loft but when I came to Shell my model I only let me shell it to 0.05mm

I then decided to try again with a different stylize letter of the S. This Model was an improvement and I was able to Shell my model at 1mm.
